Villars – Roc d’Orsay

From December 23, 2025, to March 24, 2026. Every Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Starting from the Roc d’Orsay gondola in Villars (1,250 m), the route follows the Lapins slope and then La Populaire up to the Maison de Montagne de Bretaye (1,750 m). The itinerary continues via the Col de Bretaye to the top of the Roc d’Orsay gondola (2,000 m). For the more ambitious, it is possible to extend the climb to the summit of the Grand Chamossaire (2,112 m).
Ascent and descent follow the same route. Slope grooming is postponed until 10:00 p.m. on these pistes.

Our tip: End your climb with a delicious pizza at Rocco Cantina Italiana, located at the top of the Roc d’Orsay gondola, or enjoy a traditional fondue at the Maison de Montagne de Bretaye. Both restaurants are open until 10:00 p.m. Reservations are recommended.

This activity is free of charge and undertaken under the participant’s own responsibility. There is no slope patrol; only the grooming on the dedicated route is delayed. The slope is not lit, and the use of a headlamp is mandatory.
